What happens in the event that the item is damaged?

Please unpack and check the products upon delivery and advise us of any faults or damage.  Any damage or errors must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of parcel.

If any item is damaged, please take photographs and email them along with a description of the fault to weddingtravelboxes@iinet.net.au

Please return Items for refund in perfect condition and in their original packaging to protect from damage.

The carriage to return an item is the responsibility of the customer but we will despatch any replacement without a carriage charge.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

In the event that a product is out of stock The Dress Box Co will contact you by email or phone and give you an indication as to availability and an anticipated delivery time.

If you request a one off special order from us which we do not have in stock at the time and we have to get from the UK personally for you and you then cancel this special order you will be charged the air freight for that order plus the $15 cancellation fee.

If you have paid for a product that has subsequently sold out or is unavailable and you do not wish to proceed with your order you will be offered a full refund or exchange for other items.

Can I pay for my purchases other than online?

Yes, alternative payment arrangements such as cheque, money order, electronic funds transfer, and layby can be made. Please contact us 0458 322 066 to make payments using these methods.

The Dress Box Co reserves the right to reject any request for refund due to a change of heart.

TERMS OF ORDER

All prices quoted exclude postage and packing.

Payment is required on your placement of order. We endeavour to despatch as soon as possible, or by your requested date, but please allow 7-21 days to arrive, as demand can be very high.

Once your order has been placed, you may cancel the order within 24 hours by notifying us by telephone or e-mail although an administration charge of $15 may be incurred for cancelled orders.

Any damage, or errors, although rare, must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of parcel.

Carriage charges are non-refundable.

The Dress Box Co cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or late arrival of any order.

Shopping Basket price errors can occur occasionally, and The Dress Box Co will notify the customer should any item be incorrect. List prices are to be adhered to.

Please check all details are correct in your confirmation.

Delivery requires a signature, so please ensure an appropriate delivery address is given where a signature can be obtained.

Please ensure the courier is responded to immediately if they have attempted delivery. If no communication is received from the recipient, the parcel will be returned to The Dress Box Co and this will incur extra re-delivery charges. If you foresee a problem, please add clear delivery instructions e.g. ‘If out, leave at no.4’

Collection of your personal information

There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to The Dress Box Co customer support features you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but not limited to a unique username and password, or provide sensitive information in the recovery of your lost password.

We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. The Dress Box Co takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

Use of your personal information

For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalized content to you while you are at this Site.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will use for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.
